Delete your account
In the app (fastest)
- Open Moguru and tap Settings at the top right of the home screen.
- Scroll to Danger zone and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately and can't be recovered.
Without the app
If you signed in with Google or Apple, email help@gruuw.com from that address with the subject “Delete my Moguru account”. We'll confirm and delete it within 30 days.
If you never signed in, your account is anonymous and only exists on the device: uninstalling Moguru removes the app's data on your phone, and the backup on our servers can't be linked to you by anyone. To delete that backup too, reinstall the app and use Delete account before uninstalling, or contact us with the details below.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in identity
- All decks, cards (including their saved sentences), explanations and example sentences
- Your review history, streaks, badges and settings
- Usage records tied to your account (capture counts and processing logs)
What we keep
Nothing that identifies you. Photos and page text are never stored in the first place. Subscription purchase records are kept by Google Play under its own policies; cancel a subscription in Google Play before deleting your account.
